About
Syed Umair Habib is the founder and CEO of RegVersa Technologies, an enterprise, API-first regulatory intelligence platform for lawyers, compliance teams and financial institutions.
He started RegVersa to fix a trust problem in legal and regulatory AI. Most AI tools in this space produce fluent answers that are not always backed by a real source, and the usual fix is to check citations after the answer has already been written. RegVersa takes the opposite approach: grounding and citation traceability are built into the architecture from the start. If the system cannot point to the exact regulation, ruling or clause behind an answer, it flags the gap or declines, instead of guessing.
RegVersa is starting with Pakistan's legal and regulatory market, with a platform designed to expand globally. Before founding RegVersa, Umair practised as an Advocate of the High Court of Sindh in civil and intellectual property law, and later led businesses in Portugal and Hungary focused on company formation, regulatory filings and cross-border compliance.
